Here's another outfit I forgot to share from before I left for Penland. I love dressing up, but I don't necessarily love wearing "business professional" clothing. I can pretty much make any outfit "work appropriate" by adding a cardigan over top so that's really what my goal is. The thing is, I prefer wearing shorter skirts, but obviously, longer skirts (or at least knee length) are the safer way to go, for office attire. I don't consider this outfit "business professional" because I'm wearing open toe shoes, and my skirt is mint. When I think of business professional clothing, it makes me gag. Pant suits? Yuck!
Sometimes I think about how differently my outfit posts would look if I had a different job or if I worked for myself. Would I even bother dressing up? My work outfits for the College Times are completely different! Honestly, they're mostly based on comfort. If I'm going to be sweating my butt off taking photos in Phoenix when it's 115°, I'm going to make sure that I'm comfortable. And it's pretty likely that I'm gonna be wearing a sports bra and cut offs, just so ya know!
Update: I forgot to mention, I was featured on the Yab Yum Blog on Sunday! I answered the Yab Yum Seven!! Check it out HERE.
