Target Shooting

For Christmas this year, Jayare and I got Damien his first riffle, a Ruger 10/22. So a few days after Christmas, we decided to take Damien out target shooting for the very first time. Our friends joined us and we all had a fun time. 




My boy did well! And look at how proud he is!


Uncle Julian is a Marine and has lots of experience shooting. Here he is giving Damien some tips.

I got to practice shooting my handgun, but I really enjoyed Damien's riffle. That thing is so accurate (and light and quiet)!

Julian and Bea were freezing their butts off! Who am I kidding? We all were! We drove up north, about halfway to Flagstaff and it was cold! Luckily, I had my adorable panda hat to keep me warm! This was handmade by the lovely Kara of Sunshine Cupcakes. I saw this post and fell in love with it. Thanks, girl!

It's another rainy day in Phoenix! I hope you're all enjoying the wet desert for a change!
