I received this cape in the mail from Amanda about a month ago and I am totally obsessed with it! I feel like Little Red Riding Hood when I wear it. I've already worn it a bunch and I *almost* wish that it would stay cold so that I could wear it more. Almost. I kind of love the heat, but this cooler weather has definitely been a good change. I've gotten to break out all my favorite winter sweaters and long sleeved dresses that I don't get to wear but two weeks out of the year.

I wore this outfit on Christmas Eve. I'm kind of back logged with outfit posts right now so I'm going to try to schedule some weekend posts so that I can get caught up! My brother and Bea (my sister in-law) were in town visiting and they really wanted to check out the Phoenix Zoo so we took a trip to the zoo on Christmas Eve. I'll share photographs from our visit soon. Although I'm not a huge fan of the zoo, it was still fun to spend the afternoon there. I just feel bad for the animals because they don't have a ton of space to roam free. How do you all feel about zoos?

  1. EEEEk! Love the glasses and the flapper tie! You are so cute I can't handle it! And, I am so so so glad that the cape fits you! :) It looks darling on you. Just did not work for me, love! I am wishing you a fabulous weekend - so jealous of your green grass! It's supposed to be like 5 below on Monday and I can't even handle it. So! Effing! Cold! :) Big kiss!

  2. That cape is absolutely gorgeous! The San Diego zoo and Wild Animal park do a pretty good job at accommodating the animals (you know considering the fact that they are in captivity)but I think it's important to remember all of the conservation that is able to happen through the funds that the zoo's receive from the visitors.

    1. That's true. I just get this weird feeling sometimes when I'm just staring at the animals. They have no privacy or escape!! :(
